2009 Brant United Way Air Show Decision

It is with deep regret that the Brant United Way, due to circumstances beyond its control, found it necessary to withdraw its support of the 2009 Brant United Way Air Show.

On behalf of the Brant United Way, we wish to express our profound appreciation to the hundreds of volunteers for putting on such an incredible show for the past nine years in support of our Agency. We also wish to thank our sponsors for their support of the Air Show and to thank all those in the community who so loyally attended the event every year.

Though United Way is unable to host the event this coming year, we are so pleased to be able to announce that the Air Show will go on!

The name of the event has been changed to reflect a new partnership between the Air Show organizers and the Rotary Club of Brantford - “The Rotary Brantford Charity Air Show". The Rotary Air Show is scheduled for Wednesday September 2nd, 2009 with the gates opening at the Brantford Airport at 12 noon. For further show details please go to www.brantfordrotary.com.

We also wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Rotary Club of Brantford for announcing that 50% of the net proceeds from the 2009 Air Show will be donated to the Brant United Way for one of our Member Agencies, the Boys and Girls Club of Brantford.
